I have never slacked on my blog for quite this long! I am not sure whether it was lack of enthusiasm or what? Really deep down I think it boils down to the fact right before we found out what baby #3 was I dreamed of how fun it would be to post that #3 was a girl and how excited we all were. Well as some of you may know #3 is very much a BOY! It has taken me this long to really truly not freak out when I say I will have 3 boys. I took it a little rough when we found out because I have always wanted a girl for all the usually fun reasons. So I have found not motivation to blog that again we are having another boy but I am now feeling a little better about the whole thing. For the first few days I would just wrestle in my mind how unfair it was that other people got girls and yet it seems as if I will never get one. To me in my mind a girl is a pretty simple request yet 3 times now we have heard the same result. Then I would respond to myself with how selfish it was to feel this way when there are people out there who desire a baby and yet will never have one while I have 3 healthy beautiful children. So slowly but surely with prayer and a reassurance from Seth that we will try again I have turned the corner from despair to what will only become excitement. It also helps that I feel this little guy all the time especially when there is loud music which how can you not love that? One of the greatest feelings ever! Will we really try for #4 eventually... who knows? It is a little hard to say while I am still pregnant with this one and I am not sure I could handle hearing boy again for the 4th time! But at the same time I ask myself will I ever lose the baby itch until I get a girl? I suppose this is how my grandma ended up with 9 boys, which I vow NEVER to let it go that far! So only time will tell! Preston and Hudson are very excited about a new baby and as of now we have no name for the little guy. We have a few we throw around but nothing has really stuck out? The two main ones seem to be; Colton or Jaxon...we will see?
Other than that we have been pretty busy. Seth and the boys have been working out in the yard quite a bit trying to get it all ready for when the weather cools down (hopefully sooner than later). Nothing really huge seems to jump out in my mind to catch you all up on? We have a had busy weekends and have actually tried a new church. It is called Mission Community Church and we really like it. We have not made any definite decisions but we are anxious to see if possibly God will lead us to this church. So far it seems to be a really good fit! We hope you all are having a fun and exciting summer and I promise to try and keep up better with the blog!
Here are some pictures of the little guy:
